Core Concepts of Management Accounting
Alan J. Richardson, Professor Emeritus,
York University and University of Windsor.

This hyperlinked text provides an overview of the key concepts of management accounting in a very different form than normal management accounting books. On each page, you will find highlighted terms that link to pages discussing the concept. So if you need to review or to build knowledge prior to engaging with a new concept, these links will provide a path. The text can be used in whatever order makes sense for your learning style and your current needs. For help with how to navigate through this text click Navigation.

The text is designed for introductory or advanced students. It can also be used by design consultants to guide the development of a management accounting system based on a set of diagnostic questions. Depending on your level of current knowledge, some sections of the text that are not relevant to you will be hidden. At the bottom of each page, you will have the option of clicking to indicate that you have mastered the material shown. If you master the basic material, you will automatically be promoted to the next level and have access to more advanced material.
