Go Down Singing is a collection of poetry that is by parts beatific, confessional, and rich in Catholicism, and the Judaism of the Old Testament. The poems is this work range from melodrama and hyperbole to the depressing and serious yet even the latter are not immune to flights of decadence, shock, exhibitionism, and fiction.
