Abstract
The article offers information on the lessons from library service vendors and libraries in the academic library. It mentions that library service vendors work full time to ensure that relevant academic content is identified in a timely manner and acquired at the best price available. In response, libraries are accountable to stakeholders including students, faculty and taxpayers just like in the business world.
