The University of Windsor Philosophy Department is recognized for excellence in teaching and research. Philosophy has a variety of programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We have a small, friendly department providing ample opportunity for student-teacher interaction; the student-run philosophy club provides ample opportunity for students to interact with one another. Philosophy's visiting speakers series brings faculty, students, and the general public together with members of the broader philosophical community. Windsor ranks in the top 200 among thousands of philosophy departments in the world.
The Philosophy Department at the University of Windsor is the home of Informal Logic, an internationally recognized journal publishing articles in informal logic, critical thinking, and argumentation theory.
