Proposal

Diving into the topic of mental health with a viewpoint of an international student, the paper draws a comparative analysis between Taiwan and Canada, as well as their respective attitudes and services regarding mental health. The proposal is grounded in data from the Human Development Report (2021), as the report delves into the myriad of challenges that come with mental health struggles, intensified by the global pandemic. There are significant differences in availabilities of mental health resources between the two countries, and the proposal underlines the need for cultural sensitivity in tackling the stigma of mental health, advocating for collaborations across cultures to address the global issue.
