Proposal

This presentation is an overview of the Sustainable Development Goal Quality Education. Understanding the impact of Quality Education is essential because all people deserve to have access to it, despite any external factors that may prevent this access. This SDG discusses the desire for fair and inclusive learning environments for all people. This goal is crucial in providing educational opportunities for all people, specifically those who may not have access to adequate otherwise. The two targets that will be sampled are Target 4.6: Universal Literacy and Numeracy, and Target 4.A: Increase the supply of Qualified Teachers In Developing Countries, which is measured by the amount of schools offering accessible services. These targets will be used in the presentation as benchmarks to compare educational standards around the world and here in Canada. At the University of Windsor, resources and policies are present to assure that Quality Education is available to everyone, keeping its education standards among the top in Canada. The presentation also highlights some simple ways that people can support the goal of equitable and inclusive education.
