Indigenous educational policy is a key issue for Indigenous peoples. Education addresses quality of life, employment, income, increases family stability, and positive health outcomes. This presentations will evaluate Indigenous educational policy in the provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, through the lens of the capability approach. The capability approach as a conceptual framework evaluates different exercises, and policy design will be applied to the educational policies of these three provinces. This will highlight gaps between current policy, and policy evaluation through a capability approach lens.
