Proposal
The research aim originates from One Act at a Time, a social enterprise developed over undergraduate studies. The enterprise takes alternative approaches to educational administration by integrating comparative educational research and literature. Current aims involve exploring Finnish methods adopted internationally to see if the selected approaches, which have demonstrated high efficacy in 'leaving no child behind' in Finland, can be adapted to Ontario schools with comparable results. One Act at a Time, and the research interest is underpinned by the Capability Approach (HDCA), a theoretical framework first developed by Amartya Sen and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #4, #8, #10, and #17.
