Graduate Student Paper Prize

To showcase the scholarship of outstanding graduate student researchers in the field of human-animal studies, (critical) animal studies, and anthrozoology, graduate students whose abstracts are accepted for inclusion in the conference will be invited to submit their work (in the form of a completed manuscript) for consideration for our conference Student Paper Award. The winner of this award will be presented with a $300 cash prize and will be invited to present their paper during a special closing session for the conference.

Graduate students who are first authors on accepted presentations are invited to submit their complete papers for consideration for the Graduate Student Paper Prize. Complete papers can be emailed to aiparg@uwindsor.ca, and must be received no later than August 17, 2018. Submissions in PDF format are preferred. The award recipient will be notified by September 14, 2018, and must attend the conference in order to receive their prize.
