The Assumption College Review was the College's first published magazine/newspaper. It began in February 1908 and ceased in June 1910. It appeared monthly for a total of 23 issues.
The aim of the Review was to "cultivate a taste for composition and to inspire a love for what is best and noblest in English literature. It is [was] intended also to foster fraternity between the alumni, the student and their Alma Mater." (Assumption College Review: vol. 1: no. 1, p. 1). Each issue included literary essays and original compositions by students and alumni, an editorial column, sports news, alumni notes, a chronicle of College events and activities for the previous month, and a section that discussed magazines received on exchange from other colleges.
