The Campus Community Garden Project (CCGP) was initiated in January 2010 and created on University-owned land on California Avenue, with University permission. Members are drawn from the University community and the greater Windsor community. The Project is dedicated to building healthy, interactive urban communities through the collective production of locally grown, organic food. The CCGP emphasizes education and sustainability and photos available from its first season show the various garden beds developed towards that end, along with members of CCGP and community groups in action.
