Abstract

The general purpose of this paper is to discuss how outer space and the exigencies that it has placed upon the international law-making system have been dealt with in the formulation of outer space law. Outer space law was drafted in a manner parallel to that of international law with the same sources and the same drawbacks. This paper will outline how international law has been modified to form outer space law by attempting to apply Earth-bound standards and relevant traditionaJ sources of international law. -
