The Windsor Teachers' College was founded in 1962 and located in South Windsor. With the publication and governmental acceptance of the MacLeod Report, teacher education was moved to the universities. The Windsor Teachers' College became the Faculty of Education, University of Windsor, on July 1, 1970. A yearbook was published every year from 1963-1970. It was called the Magister.
