Abstract
This article explores the perceptions of senior enrolment managers at Canadian colleges and universities regarding the effectiveness of using the Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) model within the Canadian context. The research design consists of a qualitative approach involving 23 individual interviews. Research participants reflected on their SEM experiences over the past decade and whether SEM can still be a useful tool for the future. Key SEM issues and practices were identified that resonate with Canadian senior enrolment leaders. Recommendations for professional practice are discussed, along with potential areas for further research.
